Welcome back! I trust that everyone had a March Break that was as restful and eventful as they wanted it to be. Be aware that we continue in full stride upon our return. Also, progress reports will be distributed Tuesday of this week, and Parent/Teacher Interviews are Thursday of this week. Ensure that they see the progress report. If your mark is less than what you or your parents hoped, you will want to be the first to tell them. Guaranteed they will want to hear if from you first than hear it from me. No one likes negative surprises!

Always take notes in class and ask questions. Your goals to attend post-secondary depend on simple skills such as active listening, note-taking, initiative, and self-advocacy! You will be responsible for knowing anything curricular that I say in class, write on the board, or provide on this website. If there is something that you do not understand, do not procrastinate; ask questions or request help.

Extra help is offered after school in my classroom, by appointment only. Remember - extra help is not for dummies - it's for anything you feel you can improve upon. If you knew how to get to the next level by yourself, you wouldn't need teachers and coaches. Is your mark worth some time after school?
