Welcome back! I trust everyone had a safe, relaxing, and re-energizing summer. It will be my pleasure getting to know all of you and my privilege of helping guide you this semester. Be prepared to work hard by putting forth your best effort to learn, understand, complete assignments, meet deadlines, and participate regularly. If you have any challenges or concerns in doing so, please don't hesitate to see me by making an appointment, as mentioned below. We are working together toward the same goal – your development and success!

Always take notes in class and ask questions. Your goals to attend post-secondary depend on simple skills such as active listening, note-taking, initiative, and self-advocacy! You will be responsible for knowing anything curricular that I say in class, write on the board, or provide on this website. If there is something that you do not understand, do not procrastinate; ask questions or request help.

Extra help is offered after school in my classroom, by appointment only. Remember - extra help is not for dummies - it's for anything you feel you can improve upon. If you knew how to get to the next level by yourself, you wouldn't need teachers and coaches. Is your mark worth some time after school?
